Our Vision and Mission
At St. James Baptist Church, our vision is deeply rooted in the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, as outlined in Matthew 28:18–20. We are dedicated to spreading the message of love, hope, and salvation to all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that our Lord has commanded.
Our community thrives on the pillars of instruction, fellowship, and support. Through instruction, we share knowledge and experiences, fostering cognitive and affective growth. Fellowship forms the heart of our social interaction, nurturing friendship and affection among adults within our congregation. Meanwhile, support embodies the mutual love and concern we provide to one another, sharing burdens and discovering together.
Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 49:9–11, we are called to lead those in darkness into the light, offering nourishment and guidance along their spiritual journey. Just as God promises to make a way in the wilderness and exalt the highways, we aspire to be a guiding light in our community, providing solace and support to those in need.
